• Selfies & photos: Uploaded images are processed in real-time for AI video generation. They are temporarily stored during the generation process.
• Email: Only collected if you voluntarily provide it for account recovery or video linking.
• Payment info: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
• Push notification subscriptions: Stored to send you notifications when your video is ready.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your comedy videos using AI.
• To manage your credits and payment history.
• To send push notifications about video completion.
• To enable account recovery via email verification.

3. Selfie Processing

Your selfie is used as a reference image for AI video generation. It is:

• Sent to our AI providers (Google Gemini, xAI) for image and video generation.
• Temporarily stored on our servers during the generation process.
• Not used for facial recognition, biometric analysis, or any purpose other than video creation.
• Not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

4. Data Storage

• Generated videos are stored on our Railway-hosted servers.
• Session data is stored in our PostgreSQL database with a 30-day expiry.
• Server logs are retained for debugging purposes and rotated automatically.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: Payment processing.
• Google Gemini: AI image generation.
• xAI (Grok): AI video generation and trending data.
• OpenAI (GPT-5.2): Comedy script generation.
• Railway: Server hosting and database.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to processing of your data.
• Data portability.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to maintain your identity. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
